We are looking for a talented Venue Manager to be a part of the opening team at our newest venue, Cheri, an all-day European dining eatery and patisserie located in the vibrant heart of South Melbourne. This role will suit an experienced hospitality professional, confident in leading a team of professionals in a vibrant and highly energetic work environment. 

Cheri will service Melburnians with morning coffees, artisanal pastries, fresh-baked goods and signature brunch dishes. With a focus on high-quality ingredients and exceptional service, we aim to create a destination that feels both timeless and contemporary, celebrating the best of European culinary traditions in a brand new, modern setting.

• Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
• Previous experience in a management position in a high-volume venue
• Proven track record of achieving financial targets, for example revenue, cost of goods and labour
• Exemplary service skills and standards
• Sophisticated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and lead by example
• Strong organisational skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and forward thinking to identify opportunities
• Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, morning and evening services.
• Experience with reservations and POS systems
