Job description

Looking for your dream job in hospitality? Darling Group is seeking an experienced Group Marketing Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about great food, hospitality, and the overall guest experience. 

As the Group Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy across our growing portfolio of brands. This newly created role will have 1 direct report, and work in partnership with the Darling Group CMO and Senior Creative to ideate and deliver and manage industry leading marketing campaigns. This role requires collaboration with the company’s food & beverage teams, marketing team and contracted third-party public relations firms. 

What you'll Bring

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our market leading social media presence
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Proactively identify ‘PR worthy' opportunities, events, collaborations, and programming to generate positive coverage in high-quality media outlets
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies alongside the creative and marketing teams
  • Work collaboratively with agency and third parties to create engaging social strategies
  • Build effective relationships across the business to support the reputation of the marketing team in the broader business

Experience, Skills & Attributes 

  • Min 5 years experience in similar role in an agency or inhouse
  • Familiarity with managing a brands digital presence across all key channels
  • Strong ability to manage relationships with internal and external suppliers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Well organised with an exceptional ability to multi-task
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility in approach, and an ability to embrace a dynamic, ever-changing workflow
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry 
  • University degree in marketing, digital technology or similar
