As an Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll support your Venue Manager to lead the floor and deliver a best-in-class experience for guests and team alike. It’s the ideal next step for an emerging hospitality leader ready to take on more ownership and grow towards a Venue Manager role.

In the role you will:

• Lead the floor and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations
• Uphold service standards and a consistently excellent guest experience
• Help coach, mentor and develop the front-of-house team
• Support rostering, stock, compliance and training
• Step up to run the venue in the Venue Manager’s absence
• Build strong relationships across the team and with regulars

• Leadership or senior supervisory experience in a busy, premium venue
• A focus on team culture and developing the people around you
• Exceptional service skills and a genuine guest focus
• Highly adaptable and calm through high-pressure service
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills
• Familiarity with rostering and time-and-attendance systems
• Availability for weekends, public holidays and a rotating roster, plus a valid RSA
