About the Opportunity:
Darling Group are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. Become an integral part of a professional team in an iconic venue that is committed to executing exceptional experiences.

Outstanding people make it all happen and we are looking for a highly skilled individual to run the kitchen in one of our flagship venues.

You must be highly motivated and focused, demonstrate excellent culinary skill, have strong attention to detail, and a great work ethic.

Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team of Chefs in a fast paced venue
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with front and back of house.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capability to multi-task. Strong training skills is a must.
• Fully understands and complies with OH&S standards and food safety requirements
• The ability to effectively manage, mentor & communicate with a diverse team
• Experience as a Head Chef in a similar high end breakfast and lunch venue.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong Administration skills. A proven track record of maintaining food and wage costs.
• Display exemplary leadership and passion for Australian & global cuisine trends
• The ability to forward plan seasonal menus, cost and then execute menu changes.
• The ability to recruit, select & train future members of your team.
