Venue Manager | Dundas & Faussett

Darling Group is in search for a passionate and hands-on Venue Manager to join the growing team at Dundas & Faussett. This role will suit an experienced hospitality professional, confident in leading a team of professionals in a vibrant and highly energetic work environment.

The Venue Manager oversees all aspects of the venue operations and ensures the venue is running effectively and efficiently, meeting all company standards each day to include, execution of food and beverage service, guest interaction, atmosphere, cleanliness, team mentoring and achieving financial targets.

Forward thinking will be a key aspect of the role, ensuring adequate staffing levels and training are in place, utilising industry knowledge to develop new and interesting activations and offers.

 

About Dundas & Faussett:

Dundas & Faussett embodies the social dining experience by encouraging guests to come early and stay late. Cut-outs in the limed oak panels lining the internal skin reveal the timber’s edge and thickness. The centrally located bar divides the space, and a long banquette seat accentuates it. Exceptional food, good conversation, energetic music, and savoury scents fill the venue, but what guests walk away with is an experience.

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
  • Previous experience in a management position in a high-volume venue
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets, for example revenue, cost of goods and labour
  • Exemplary service skills and standards
  • Sophisticated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different venues and teams and lead by example
  • Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and forward thinking to identify opportunities
  • Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
