About the role:

Assist the Head Chef in leading the BOH team of Darling Group’s exciting new hospitality project, oversee the kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control, whilst ensuring a positive work culture. Join a passionate hospitality company that is dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences, with plenty of opportunity for growth and development.

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in a high-quality restaurant with a focus on Asian cuisine.
  • Expertise in Asian cooking techniques, flavours, and ingredients including sashimi and sushi preparation.
  • Creative and innovative approach to menu development and food presentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
