Recruitment Manager


About The Opportunity:

Due to our exciting growth, we have a newly created and pivotal role for a Recruitment Manager who is ready to take ownership in managing the recruitment for all Darling Group venues.

In this fast paced and rapidly changing environment your focus will be liaising with venue teams to identify current and future talent needs and implement acquisition strategies to attract experienced and passionate candidates.

On any given day you will be posting jobs ads, screening candidates (both over the phone and face to face), facilitating group interviews, scheduling trials and partnering with our leadership team on creative ways to attract great people to our company.

Your success will come from quickly establishing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding our company and the nuances of recruitment across different venues and departments.

Manage promotion of opportunities, interview potential team members, undertake reference checks, support and refine the onboarding and induction processes. Identify potential development, training and promotion pathways for existing talented team members. Ensure our existing and soon to open venues have extraordinary teams with strong succession and training plans.

You are a senior hospitality professional or a skilled recruiter looking for a new and exciting challenge. With a track record in successfully managing large recruitment volumes, you are proactive, solution focused and have exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in hospitality either as a recruiter or working in operations is highly desirable but not essential.


Experience and Skills:

  • An appropriate business, people or training qualification
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience within the hospitality industry will be highly advantageous
  • Experience using Flare or similar onboarding software
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle workload
  • Confidence in all aspects of recruitment
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent team player with a high level of motivation and drive
