Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or similar role
  • Exposure to high energy work environment
  • Creativity and skill in the kitchen 
  • A friendly, personable demeanour with a willingness to interact with colleagues and guests
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Effective leadership skills with focus on staff development
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Adaptable to change
  • Exposure to financial budgets, food and labour costs
  • Understanding of stock control & ordering processes
  • Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays
