We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Bar Manager to build and lead a bar team that will elevate our beverage program.

About the role:

As the Bar Manager for our exciting new modern Asian-inspired restaurant, you’ll be at the heart of creating an unforgettable bar experience that matches the delicious food we serve. You’ll have the freedom to get creative and build a drink selection that perfectly complements our mouthwatering offerings. We’re on the lookout for a go-getter who’s aced the art of running bustling bars, knows their wine and cocktails inside out, and is passionate about training and developing their team. This role is a great fit for someone wanting to take their career up a notch, with potential to grow into the Group Bar Manager role.


Experience & Skills:

  • Passionate about people, hospitality, and experiences.
  • Experience creating a diverse beverage menu that showcases cocktails, wine, and other beverages.
  • In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits.
  • Special interest or expertise in sake or Asian-inspired drinks is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a cocktail bartender and bar management in a high-end restaurant or bar.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Creative flair and a passion for mixology and beverage trends.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  • Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, day-time and evening services.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing training program for bar team is advantageous.
  • Pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
